Training Objectives and Expected Outcomes
The course aims to provide participants with the knowledge and tools needed to understand the fundamental principles of the GDPR and their operational implications, apply the concepts of privacy by design and privacy by default, identify and assess risks related to the processing of personal data, draft and keep the Records of Processing Activities up to date, manage the role and responsibilities of the Data Protection Officer (DPO), carry out Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA) and define mitigation plans, as well as organize internal staff training and implement a compliant privacy management system.
Course Content
The program is modular and suitable for different corporate roles—from management to HR, IT, and legal departments. It covers the European and national regulatory framework (EU Regulation 2016/679, Italian Privacy Code, and guidance from the Data Protection Authority), data subject principles and rights such as transparency, consent, the right to be forgotten, and accountability, as well as risk management and data security (Risk Analysis, ISO 31000, ISO 27001). The course also addresses the processing of special and sensitive data, the role and responsibilities of the DPO, Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA) and operational continuity, internal audits and controls, the drafting of corporate procedures, and the organizational management of privacy, including internal training, communication, and documentation.
Duration and delivery: the course is available in classroom, online, or in a customized format for corporate teams. Upon completion, participants receive an S4C-certified certificate of attendance.
